This is Minhaj Uddin Ahmad. I am a PhD student in Civil Engineering (Transportation) at the University of Alabama, advised by Dr. Mizanur Rahman, where I work as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) Lab. I also completed my MSc in Civil Engineering at the University of Alabama.
My research centers on resilient positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) and cybersecurity for connected and automated vehicles. I work on GNSS spoofing detection and mitigation, software-defined PNT receivers, and secure navigation in GNSS-denied environments. This builds on my work in multi-sensor fusion and signal processing.
I completed my undergraduate degree (BSc in Electrical Engineering) at the Islamic University of Technology, Bangladesh. Before joining the University of Alabama, I worked as a Research Engineer (embedded systems) at Cybernetics Hi Tech Solutions and as an engineering intern at ANTS Aerial Systems, both in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
